Is a Marketing and Communication expert with over 20 years of experience in management of creative industries.
Currently, Catarina is the Brand Communication Director at Grupo Visabeira, a Portuguese multisectorial group, present in 134 countries through different services – such as Tourism or Telecommunications and Energy (ex: Constructel company with a Turnover of over 1 billion €), and products from brands such as Vista Alegre, a 200 year luxurious porcelain and crystal brand. Catarina is also CCO and member of the board at Bang Bang, a Marketing and Communication Agency based in Lisbon.
Her Marketing and Communication know-how was also accomplished from studying Management and Strategic Marketing at Católica Lisbon School, and before that, Design for Communication at the London University. Nowadays, Catarina returned to the academic world as a Marketing Professor in different Post-graduations and Executive courses at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and Universidade Europeia.
Catarina is also an active speaker at multiple events, including TEDxPorto, she has been distinguished with several awards as well as invited as a Jury member in national and international competitions in the fields of Marketing and Communication.
